Los Angeles based Director and longtime Friend-of-Coupe Dennis Flippin had something very specific in mind for his new feature DP highlight reel: An original piece of music that felt like Radiohead did a song with Enya. And it needed to work with visuals ranging from torture scenes to comedy; with OCPs running the gambit from children to Hollywood icon Danny Trejo.
Just the kind of challenge we thrive on! Coupe composer Kip Kuepper got to work immediately, enlisting the vocal talents (and vivid imagination) of our collaborator Greta Hotmer (aka Altar Violet). It’s a great example of how our unique model of our core team (all full time, on-site, with an average tenure of over 15 years here) joins forces with the right collaborators to accomplish any musical mission.
