We’ve been recording books since they were still called “Books on Tape,” but the explosion in popularity over the last few years is unprecedented. Listeners especially love it when the author reads their own book. Last month we had the pleasure of recording Camille Dungy reading her book Soil: The Story of a Black Mother’s Garden as well as Bruce Schoenfeld reading his book Game of Edges.
